Whether you believe it or not — it is a fact that mounted on the Earth,

• All of us are also spinning around the axis of the Earth at a speed of about 15°/hr.
• Only Earth is not revolving around the Sun at a whopping speed of about 107,000 km/hr. It carries us also along with it at the same speed around the Sun in space.

(iii)   Only Sun does not revolve around the center of our galaxy at a mind-boggling speed of about 828,000 km/hr. It carries us also around the center of the galaxy, at the same speed.

(iv)   Only Sun is not climbing above the galactic plane at a fantastic speed of about 25,200 km/hr. It carries us also along with it at the same speed above the galactic plane. 

(v)     Sun, alone, does not hurtle toward Lambda Hercules at a speed of about 72,000 km/hr. Since the whole solar system hurtles toward Lambda Hercules at such speed, we also hurtle toward Lambda Hercules at the same speed in space — though we don’t notice it.

But how many of us even think about it?
