I can’t forget the day, I came to know that science has discovered that the color of various things depends on the value of “Fine-structure constant” and the value of the “Reflectivity of the electrons of the outer shells of various elements”.Though we may attribute the discovery of “Fine-structure constant” to H.G.J. Mosley — since its value depends on the atomic numbers of the elements, speed of light, Coulomb’s constant, electronic charge and Planck’s constant, it is obligatory on our part to associate not only the names of the scientists who assigned atomic numbers to various elements, calculated the speed of light, calculated the values of the Coulomb’s constant and the Planck’s constant with this discovery but also the names of the engineers, who should have made it possible to calculate the wavelengths of the light reflected by the electrons of the outer shells of various elements.In one of the chapters of this book — I have listed the persons whose names may be associated with this discovery.                      If you like to have a copy of the book, the e-book costs USD 1.60 on Amazon.com and Rs 132.00 on amazon.in.
